PROJECT
Hotel The Rebyl Nijmegen
Curious about what Burned Wood can do for your project?

Description
Hotel The Rebyl Nijmegen
The Rebyl is an iconic four star hotel in Nijmegen, created within the monumental Opus school building from 1922. The transformation focused on balancing historical character with modern sustainability. The new extension at the rear features a stylish facade in brushed and stained burned Douglas wood, with fire class B-s3,d0. Thanks to this choice, the architecture connects seamlessly with the original monument, while ensuring both visual appeal and fire safety. This project demonstrates how innovative wood applications can go hand in hand with heritage preservation and guest comfort.
