Villa Gorinchem 

At the detached residence in Gorinchem, also known as Villa Sparta, everything revolves around the balance between strength and refinement. The facade is clad with Burned Wood Accoya, carefully charred according to the Japanese Shou Sugi Ban technique. This creates a deep, velvety black wood structure that gives the house a serene, almost sculptural appearance.

The dark wood forms a strong contrast with the light volumes and large glass sections, creating a play of light and shadow that moves across the facades. The architecture is clear and contemporary, with clean lines and a careful interplay between exterior and interior.
