BURNED WOOD

Douglas brushed

We produce Burned Wood Douglas brushed by carefully brushing off the charcoal layer after our preservation process, the controlled surface burning. This reveals the wood's grain pattern with a fantastic color contrast and deep relief. As a finish, we use Burned Wood Stain Natural, a water-based transparent stain with UV blocking produced in the Netherlands. The stain protects the wood against UV radiation, fungi, and weathering, preserving the wood color for a longer duration. Over time, a natural gray patina develops.
