DESCRIPTION

Burned Wood was closely involved in the design process of this modern home in Enschede's new Roombeek district, where the architecture is diverse.

The application of Burned Wood was decided together with architect Studiodot.nl. Burned Wood is used here as vertical closed façade cladding with burnt shiplap planks from Douglas. The scorched Douglas has been treated with oil to impregnate it so that it doesn't lose its finish.
